At Musashi Gakki, we have two facilities: a showroom where you can try out over 30 new and used pianos at any time, and a professional hall equipped with a Steinway & Sons D model and a Yamaha full concert piano, which can be used for anything from individual practice to mini concerts.

Access

• By Train: From the South Exit of JR Chuo Line Kunitachi Station, it is a 3-minute walk to the hall and a 5-minute walk to the store.
• By Car: About 10 minutes from the Chuo Expressway Kunitachi-Fuchu Interchange.
• There is no dedicated parking lot at Kunitachi Violet Hall. Please use nearby coin-operated parking.
• Advance notice is required to use the Musashi Gakki parking lot.

Company History

1935: The founder, Susumu Ogiwo, started a piano tuning business.

1965: The second-generation president, Kaichi Ogiwo, opened "Musashi Gakki" in Musashidai, Fuchu City.

1976: The company relocated to its current address in Kunitachi City.

1997: Store renovation and the opening of Violet Hall.

2007: The store relocated to 1F, 1-17-4 Higashi, Kunitachi City.

2011: The president was succeeded by Kouko Ogiwo.

2014: Signed an exclusive agency contract with German piano maker Schimmel.

2015: The store was renovated.

Present: Ongoing business operations.
