Piano Rental for Individual Customers

If you’re unsure how long your child will continue playing the piano, worried about disturbing your neighbors, or wondering if you can rent a piano only while attending a music school — piano rental is the perfect solution for you!

Pianos listed in our catalog, new KAWAI pianos, and new Schimmel pianos (excluding some models) are available for rental.

Rental Fees

Grand Piano	Starting from ¥22,000/month
Upright Piano	Starting from ¥5,000/month

Rental Period

You can choose either a monthly or yearly contract. If the end date is not specified, the contract will automatically renew. You can cancel at any time with a one-month notice.
Additionally, if you plan to rent long-term, you will receive one month free when you pay for a year in advance—making it a great deal!

e.g.,
If you rent a grand piano for ¥11,000 per month for one year:
Annual payment (paid at the start of the rental)= ¥11,000 × 11 = ¥121,000 + round-trip delivery and installation fee

About Payment

The rental fee for the first month (or the first year) and the round-trip delivery/installation fee must be paid before the rental start date (delivery date). (Click here for delivery fees)
For subsequent months (or years), payments must be made via bank transfer at least one month in advance.

Includes Annual Tuning and Maintenance

During the rental period, tuning (once a year), standard voicing, adjustments, and repairs are covered by us, so you can use the piano with peace of mind.

Insurance coverage included.

In the unlikely event that the rental product is accidentally damaged, we provide insurance coverage, so you can have peace of mind. The insurance fee is included in the rental price.

Purchasing the Piano During the Rental Period

If you are satisfied with the piano during the rental period, you can purchase it.
Half of the rental fees you have paid up until that point will be applied toward the purchase price (however, the maximum amount applied will be half of the product's price).
Please note that this offer does not apply to the purchase of any piano other than the one rented.

e.g.,
If you rent a piano priced at ¥800,000 with a monthly rental fee of ¥11,000 for 10 months and decide to purchase it:

Rental fees already paid: ¥11,000 × 10 months = ¥110,000 (a)
Purchase credit applied: ¥110,000 (a) × 50% = ¥55,000 (b)
Purchase price: ¥800,000 - ¥55,000 (b) = ¥745,000.

*Please note that the return shipping fee paid at the time of rental will be refunded.
